Coconut Ball Cookies

This recipe adapted from Biscuit Feast by Chef Zubaidah. 


Ingredient A:
120 g Butter
2 tbsp Ghee
60 g icing sugar

Ingredient B:
180 g plain flour
20 g corn flour
30 g almond powder
1/2 egg yolk

Ingredient C:
1 egg white

Garnishing
toasted coconut (blended)
Dragees Ball or Red cherries (original recipe using cherries) 

Method:
  1. Mix ingredients A until well combined.
  2. Add ingredient B, knead into soft dough.
  3. Take some dough and form into ball.
  4. Dip into egg white and coat with toasted coconut. Repeat for the rest of the dough.
  5. Arrange on a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 150C for 30 minutes.
  6. Place the dragee ball or cherries on top of the cookies for decoration.
