Homemade Garam Masala

Ingredients.

4 tbsp coriander
2 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp black peppercorns
2 tsp cardamom seeds
12 cm cinnamon stick 
1 tsp cloves
1 nutmeg

Methods
  1. Measure and make all the ingredient ready. In a heavy skillet on a low heat, gently roast all ingredients separately except the nutmeg. 
  2. Stir occasionally and make sure the spices does not burn.
  3. When spices are roast, remove from heat and allow to cool.
  4.  Using electric grinder, grind all the spices together to a fine powder.
  5. Store it in an airtight container in a cool dark place and always make sure to close the lid tightly after each use.
