Mutton Masala

Ingredients

Ingredient A:

1 kg Mutton - clean and cut into 1 inch cube
 250 ml coconut cream - from 1/2 coconut
3 tomato - cut into pieces
8 to 10 curry leaves
200 gm Yogurt
5 red onion - slice
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala - refer here
450 - 500 ml water
4 tbsp cooking oil
Salt to taste

Ingredient B: 

5 cloves of garlic ---------}
10 13 green chilies--------}     grind together
4 cm ginger ----------------}

1 sticks cinnamon
4 cardamom
3 cloves
3 star anise

Methods
  1. Heat oil in a cooker and add in the sliced red onion, garam masala and curry leaves and fry until golden brown and it release nice aroma.
  2. Add in the ingredient B (grind paste and spices) and stir for 2 - 3 minutes.
  3. Add the yogurt and mutton and mix well under medium heat.
  4. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, chilli powder, tomatoes and water.
  5. Cook until the mutton slightly soft and add in the coconut cream.
  6. Cook over low heat till done or the gravy thicken.
  7. Serve hot with rice or chappathi (Indian flat bread).
